As Scitex’s operation evolves, we are excited to welcome Mari Pipe to our community as our new Finance Manager. This is an exciting development for our team to continue improving and finding ways to enhance our client and candidate experience.
Mari brings strong experience across Chartered Accountancy, Commercial Banking and Business Financial Systems to our operation. She has held Operations and Finance positions managing all the functional, finance and organisational change needs of New Zealand Small to Medium Enterprises and Not for Profit teams. She brings previous Corporate experience in both Chartered Accountancy and Commercial Banking has been used to develop systems and protocols for these sectors especially in the design and implementation of financial reporting, human resource functions and general operational process improvement.
We are lucky to have Mari join our team. As she joined, we asked her a few quick fire questions to get to know her better:
What’s your favourite part of New Zealand? Omaha Beach.
What has been a highlight of your career to date? The people I’ve worked with have always been my highlight. I’ve been fortunate to work in a range of industries and help support the team and the vision with my skills.
Why was joining Scitex exciting? I’ve always had an interest in recruitment from my time as a people leader when chatting to people about their goals and finding the best fit for them in the organisation was something I enjoyed. Being able to work alongside a team who prioritises fostering relationships inspires me.
What are your goals for this year? To share my financial experience and support and compliment the team in their focus on engineering better Mondays!
What do you like to do outside of work? My husband and I are avid side-line spectators of our son who is demonstrating far more competence than his parentage would suggest. I love learning whether it’s Spanish, Vietnamese Cuisine or the basics of the Premier League football league – you never know when you’ll need it for a pub quiz.
