We’re looking for a Warehouse & Distribution Team Leader with the right personality with a natural flair for leadership, to oversee day-to-day operations for a great Tauranga based team in a busy, export-driven setting. About the Role:

Reporting to the Operations Manager, this role involves coordinating the distribution, storage, and transport of goods across New Zealand. Based in Tauriko, you’ll need to be a hands-on, roll-up-your-sleeves team player who can lead a team to make sure orders are managed efficiently and shipments go out on time. You’ll support daily operations, handle order processing, and ensure compliance with safety standards. The role involves close teamwork with customer service and production, helping everything run smoothly. Occasional travel to other locations may be needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee distribution, storage and export processes
  • Lead and supervise warehouse and distribution staff, promoting a supportive work environment
  • Coordinate orders and ensure timely, accurate dispatch
  • Ensure efficient and professional service delivery to customers
  • Monitor inventory and stock levels
  • Maintain safety standards across the team

Key Requirements:

  • Leadership experience in a warehouse or distribution setting
  • Friendly, people-focused approach to team management
  • Familiarity with safety standards (Dangerous Goods experience a bonus)
  • Ability to lift up to 20 kg
  • Basic computer skills (experience with Greentree Software is a plus)
  • Forklift license and full NZ Driver’s license preferred
