Our Auckland based client, a proud NZ family owned well-established leader, renowned for crafting bespoke HVAC/heating/ventilation and acoustic equipment from design to commissioning, is on an unstoppable growth trajectory. With modern premises and a legacy of excellence, they are seeking a highly skilled, seasoned Technical AHU Engineer to join their team and lead the design and development of cutting-edge AHU solutions for their clients ensuring seamless delivery of world-class products and services.

About The Role:
Reporting to the Managing Director, our client is seeking a positive, dynamic and experienced Technical AHU Engineer who will build new and nurture existing relationships with key consulting engineers, contractors, and end users through AHU design, contract tendering and bid management, contributing to their market dominance. If you have a technical AHU background designing and engineering Air Handling Unit systems, with excellent communication and client interaction skills, this is your golden opportunity!

What we are ideally seeking:

Minimum 10 years proven technical AHU experience with at least 4 years experience designing AHU solutions
A tertiary qualification in AHU/HVAC/Mechanical engineering
Contract tendering, bid management experience
Positive, driven and highly motivated engineer who thrives in building stakeholder relationships
AHU/HVAC psychrometric calculation experience, attention to detail with good business acumen
Possess excellent English, communication and negotiation skills with a positive attitude and results focused
Proven engineering software experience
Ability to work autonomously and in a team environment
A passion for innovation and driving change

A reflection of the level of importance this role is to our client’s business, a total remuneration range of $105,000 to $120,000 is on offer for the right candidate, plus company benefits including bonus scheme and car allowance.
