Quality Systems Officer

We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Specialist to join a successful team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing various release activities and ensuring they are carried out in accordance with company procedures. Your primary focus will be on reviewing documentation,  approving batch records, handling stock quality holds, and coordinating Certificate of Analysis (CoA) processes.

Responsibilities 

• Review documentation and release shipments
• Identify and action quality processes
• Prioritize compliance and quality procedures
• Review Inwards Goods documentation, ensure compliance with requirements.
• Ensure all internal and external requirements are met to enable the release for supply of incoming shipments.
• Perform incoming shipment release for supply processes in a timely manner.
• Review and approve Rework batch packaging records (BPRs) for completion  and compliance with requirements.
• Action quality holds and disposal in accordance with requirements.

Skills & Experience

• Experience using SAP in a professional capacity.
• Previous experience in quality assurance, preferably in a manufacturing or pharmaceutical environment.
• Strong understanding of company procedures, SOPs, and work instructions related to release activities.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify discrepancies or non-conformances.
• Effective communication skills to liaise with Principals, staff, and supervisors.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and work independently.
• Proficient in using relevant software and systems for documentation management and review.
