Production Supervisor

At Scitex, we’re supporting a local food manufacturer based in Onehunga to find a proactive and capable Production Supervisor. This business specialises in dry blending and packing food products, with a strong reputation for quality and reliability.
As the Production Supervisor, you’ll play a key role in managing the day-to-day operations of the production floor. With a team of around 7–8 people, your focus will be on leading by example, ensuring a safe and efficient workplace, improving performance, and fostering a more positive and accountable team culture.
This is a great opportunity for someone who’s ready to step into a leadership role and make a visible difference.
What you’ll be doing:

  • Leading and supervising production staff across daily operations
  • Scheduling production runs and ensuring output meets targets
  • Managing staff performance, including coaching and development
  • Supporting the implementation of improved processes and team culture
  • Working closely with the GM to improve production planning and efficiencies
  • Being present on the floor and keeping safety and quality top of mind

What we’re looking for:

  • Previous leadership experience in a food manufacturing or FMCG environment
  • Hands-on approach with a strong presence on the production floor
  • Confident communicator with a proactive attitude
  • Experience in scheduling, people management, and performance improvement
  • A genuine interest in team development and workplace culture
