Production Operator – – Food

Do you have experience working as a machine or production operator in the food manufacturing industry and are looking for an opportunity to step up? 

This multi-national food manufacturer is looking for a Production Operator to assist the team in the food production. Although starting as a temporary position, this position has great long term potential as well as future opportunities to develop into more senior roles with the company.

About the role:

  • Follow the production plan and recipes to assist in the blending and cooking process, making adjustments as neccessary.
  • Assist with line set up and pre-operational checks of form seal machines. 
  • Adhere to food safety and quality standards, completing all relevant documentation.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • At least 1-2 years experience in a food manufacturing environment, ideally with exposure to bulk weighing and blending of ingredients as per the production recipe.
  • Physically fit with the capacity to lift 25KG repeatedly.
  • Strong communication skills, attention to detail and mathematical skills to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Flexibility to work on the night shift and adapt to changing production schedules
  • Understanding of production machinery and maintenance procedures
  • Passion for continuous improvement and a commitment to quality

The working hours are from 06.00pm to 16.30am Monday to Friday with occasional overtime hours on a Saturday.
