Are you a seasoned Electrical Engineer ready to take the next step in your career? This is your chance to join a growing, multi-disciplinary engineering consultancy and bring your extensive experience to the table as a Principal Electrical Engineer.

This isn’t just a design role; it’s an opportunity to apply your technical expertise to a diverse range of projects from the ground up—from initial concept to final commissioning. You’ll work with a talented team of mechanical, process, and structural engineers, providing high-level electrical design and consultation to demanding clients in the food and dairy industries.

Beyond your project work, you will play a key part in developing robust electrical systems and processes, while also acting as a mentor to junior engineers. Your leadership and deep technical knowledge will be vital in ensuring the team continues to deliver exceptional solutions.

This position is based in central Hamilton and involves occasional site visits to oversee project implementation.
  
About You   
We’re looking for an experienced professional with a proven track record in the electrical engineering field. Our ideal candidate will have:

  • A tertiary-level qualification in electrical engineering.
  • Significant experience in detailed electrical design, CAD drafting, costing, and project commissioning.
  • A background in process automation and control systems, preferably within the food or dairy sectors.
  • Exceptional self-leadership skills, a ‘can-do’ attitude, and a passion for finding innovative solutions to complex problems.
  • Hazardous area training and/or TUV certification is highly desirable.
