Are you an experienced NPD professional with a background in nutraceuticals or health products? We are seeking a detail-focused NPD Technologist to join our client’s dynamic team on a 6-month contract in Auckland. If you have strong technical knowledge and thrive in fast-paced environments, this role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to innovative product development projects.

About the Role: As an NPD Technologist, you will play a key role in supporting new product development activities from concept to market launch. Working closely with both the local team in New Zealand and an international team based in China, you will ensure that all products align with brand standards and meet regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the development of new products, ensuring they meet quality and brand standards.
  • Collaborate with the China-based Product Development team to manage product specifications and compliance.
  • Review documentation, including SOPs and ingredient details, to develop TAPS-compliant product labels.
  • Assist in preparing product information for regulatory approval and market readiness.

What We Are Looking For:

  • Proven experience in new product development, ideally within nutraceuticals or health products.
  • Knowledge of ingredients, formulations, and TAPS compliance processes.
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent documentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with local and international teams.
