Manufacturing Assistant

Join a well-established chemical manufacturing company in South Auckland! This hands-on, technical role involves operating equipment, lifting, and handling materials, measuring ingredients, and keeping accurate production records.

Job Responsibilities

• Measure, dispense, and record chemical ingredients accurately in line with production specifications
• Operate basic machinery and perform manual handling to safely decant chemicals
• Complete batch documentation and maintain accurate inventory records using Microsoft Excel
• Liaise with internal teams to provide timely updates on stock levels and production timelines

Skills Required

• Previous experience in manufacturing, ideally involving blending, batching, or chemical handling
• Familiarity with GMP standards and procedures
• Valid forklift license with at least 2 years of forklift operating experience (not necessary)
• Strong numeracy and literacy skills with excellent attention to detail for accurate documentation
• Physically fit with the ability to perform manual handling tasks of up to 25kg.
