Global Health and Nutrition Manager

On behalf of Synlait, Scitex Recruitment are currently searching for a Global Health & Nutrition Manager to drive the expansion of their Advanced Ingredients portfolio, leveraging emerging scientific and nutritional trends to create robust business cases for commercialisation. The position will play a key role in positioning Synlait as an industry leader by sharing insights with customers and supporting the development of new initiatives.
  
Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the growth of the Advanced Ingredients category by engaging with industry experts and developing new initiatives and strategies; develop early-stage concepts.
• Monitor science and nutrition trends; develop strategies to share these insights, and create value propositions that protect and expand existing business.
• Work with internal teams, customers, suppliers, and external industry experts to ensure scientific validation of new initiatives.
• Prepare robust business plans and gain Executive alignment.

  
Qualifications, Experience & Skills

• Significant experience in a commercial organisation, with a strong understanding of global nutrition trends.
• Master’s degree in nutrition, food science, or related field. A PhD is preferred (but not mandatory).
• Strong strategic and commercial acumen.
• Proven ability to communicate complex scientific information effectively.
• Skilled collaborator who can lead initiatives in dynamic and complex environments.
• Ability to manage pressure and maintain accountability.
