Our renowned client, a leading food production facility with over 30 production lines based in Ingleburn, NSW, is seeking an experienced, skilled and licensed Industrial Electrician with a background in the fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) sector to ensure their equipment runs smoothly in a fast-paced environment.

About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced industrial electrician to ensure the smooth operation of our client’s production facility. As part of their team, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and repairing their equipment and systems, contributing to the success of their delicious products.  Working closely with Operations, Maintenance and Engineering Managers onsite, our ideal candidate will have electrical expertise and food manufacturing experience and a thorough understanding of Health and Safety regulations within a manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on electrical systems and production equipment to minimize downtime
  • Install and upgrade electrical systems, machinery, and equipment as required to improve production efficiency
  • Work with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) and automated systems, ensuring optimal performance and quick resolution of issues
  • Ensure all electrical work complies with safety regulations, industry standards, and company policies
  • Diagnose and resolve electrical issues promptly to keep production running smoothly
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed, including maintenance logs, safety checks, and equipment updates.

Key Requirements:

  • Industrial electrical experience within a food manufacturing or industrial environment
  • Australian electrical trade qualification & valid electrical license 
  • Proficiency in PLCs, electrical troubleshooting, and automation systems is essential
  • Excellent hands-on diagnostic and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced setting
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Knowledge of safety systems, CMMS Systems 
  • Good communication skills and a desire to work as part of a team
  • A willingness to learn and apply new skills
