About the role

This is a fantastic opportunity to autonomously manage the customer service processes within the business, and also supporting the company’s Technical Sales Representative, creating an updated database of potential clients.  The culture within this business is all about ‘team’ and ‘support’ and it’s all ‘hands to the deck’.  You will have your own office and enjoy feeling well supported.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handling incoming calls and emails, taking orders and assisting customers with enquiries.
  • Processing purchase orders and completing invoices (low volume, high value)
  • Monitoring inventory and overseeing product dispatch
  • Co-ordinating with the production team and warehouse to resolve any issues and communicate delays to customers
  • Joining the Company’s daily production meetings and escalating any customer-impacting issues.  Also involvement in sales meetings to discuss potential new customers etc.
  • Supporting the sales arm of the business by calling past customers to verify correct contact details; and also identifying new potential customers, calling to get contact details etc and where possible make appointments for the company’s Technical Sales Rep.
