Food Laboratory Technician

Our client is a well known food manufacturer who has delivered a quality product across NZ for over a century. Due to internal movement, they are currently seeking an experience food laboratory technician.

About the Role:
As a Food Laboratory Technician, you will be responsible for conducting a range of quality tests, including:

• Basic laboratory testing – pH, viscosity, and physical testing
• Intermediate and final-stage product testing to ensure specifications are met.
• Sensory and visual testing of product
• Data Recording & Reporting: Accurately document test results, identify any deviations, and report findings.

This role offers autonomy in daily tasks while having the support of experienced Process Technicians.

What We’re Looking For:

• 1-2 years of laboratory experience in food production or a related field
• Strong communication skills – we welcome all applicants with the rights to work in NZ
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with the wider team
