Production Operator

  • Temporary-to-permanent role with opportunities for upskilling.

We are partnered with several well-established manufacturers in South Auckland, currently experiencing growth and seeking operators to support their production demands.
These roles involve working between the warehouse and production areas, using equipment to pick materials, accurately measuring quantities as per production schedules, and completing all required documentation with precision and efficiency.
  
Job Responsibilities

  • Adhere to food safety standards by accurately measuring, dispensing, and recording ingredients based on production requirements.
  • Complete batch documentation and maintain accurate inventory records using basic MS Excel.
  • Communicate with internal teams to provide updates on stock levels and timelines.
  • Operate reach forklifts and use RF scanners to pick ingredients and packaging materials from the warehouse.

Skills Required

  • Previous experience in food manufacturing, ideally with blending and batching responsibilities.
  • At least 2 years of experience operating a reach forklift with current certification.
  • Strong numeracy and literacy skills with attention to detail for accurate batch documentation.
  • Ability to perform manual handling tasks of up to 25kg.
