This is a fantastic opportunity for a young chemist with 1-2 years of commercial lab experience to take the next step in their career. In this role, you will work closely with senior development chemists assisting in new product development (NPD), continuous improvement (CI) projects, and supporting regulatory and certification processes.

Your day-to-day will involve:

  • Formulating and testing products in the lab, contributing to NPD and CI projects.
  • Research and development activities, including desktop and hands-on lab research.
  • Product testing for efficacy, stability, and quality, with accurate data reporting.
  • Supporting regulatory compliance, including Safety Data Sheets (SDS), export documentation, and certification processes.
  • General lab and administrative support to ensure projects are delivered effectively.
  • Collaborating with marketing and technical teams to bring products to life.

 
What You Will Bring:

  • A relevant qualification in Chemistry or a related science discipline.
  • Fluency in Mandarin or Japanese is useful to assist in export markets requirements. 
  • 1-2 years’ lab experience, ideally in a product development or testing environment.
  • A passion for innovation, sustainability, and hands-on experimentation.
  • A curious, proactive mindset and eagerness to learn from senior professionals.
