About the Role

As a Production Chemist, you will be responsible for the precision manufacture of pharmaceutical products, adhering to strict operational procedures within our Quality Management System.

You will work across rotating shifts, with night shifts focused on production (12am-9am) and day shifts covering preparation, materials management, compliance, and customer interaction. You will play an integral part in ensuring the manufacturing process runs smoothly and contributes to our mission of enhancing patient health.

Key Responsibilities

  • Precision Manufacturing: Manufacture pharmaceutical products with attention to detail and in compliance with operational procedures.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate daily manufacturing and dispensing records.
  • Customer Communication: Liaise with customers regarding supply impacts and any relevant updates.
  • Logistics Management: Oversee labelling, packaging, dispatch, and logistics requirements.
  • Problem Solving: Identify and report performance issues, conducting investigations and managing risks.
  • Reagent Preparation: Assist with the preparation of reagents and perform chemical testing as required.
  • Shift Work: Participate in rotating shifts, including night shifts from 12am-9am.

Skills & Experience

We are looking for candidates who possess the following:

  • Qualifications: A degree in science or pharmaceuticals is required.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong precision in following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Organisational Skills: Excellent time management and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Independent & Fast-Paced: Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication, with a customer-focused approach.
  • Problem-Solving: Proactive attitude towards identifying and resolving issues.
  • Driver’s License: A current driver’s license is required.
