About the Role:
This pivotal role, reporting to the General Manager ANZ, is designed for a strategic thinker and relationship builder. You’ll assist the General Manager in establishing national sales strategies, seek new opportunities to expand the client base, and drive major projects to completion.
Working closely with the Sales Manager, you’ll ensure seamless product management and deliver superior customer service, all while promoting excellent Safety, Health, and Environmental practices. Lead initiatives with autonomy while collaborating with a supportive leadership team and contribute to impactful projects in key construction and safety sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategies to grow the protective coatings market
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and new clients
- Identify and pursue major sales opportunities and projects
- Collaborate with the Sales Manager for effective product management
- Provide sales analyses and customer service support to the General Manager and Sales Manager
- Foster and uphold company policies and safety standards
Key Requirements:
- Proven experience in sales and developing markets preferably in protective coatings and fireproofing industries
- Proven background presenting to teams of engineers, specifiers etc
- Excellent communication skills (oral and written)
- Strong negotiation abilities and a creative approach to problem-solving
- Ability to read building specs and plans
- A collaborative team player with the ability to work independently
- High level of accuracy with figures and attention to detail
- Proficiency in computer systems with strong keyboard skills
- Current NZ driver’s licence and NZ residency.
