We’re searching for a dynamic Distribution Supervisor to lead a busy national team of fantastic warehouse staff in a fast-paced export environment. About the Role:
Reporting to the Operations Manager, this role will oversee the movement of all stock, materials, and consumables in and out of their Tauriko Tauranga Store, ensuring the export process runs efficiently and on time, while leading and managing the distribution team to meet top-tier service standards. In this role, you’ll need to be a hands-on, roll-up-your-sleeves team player who isn’t afraid to dive into the thick of things and tackle challenges head-on. Additionally, you’ll play a key role in maintaining workplace safety by actively contributing to the Health & Safety Committee.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Autonomously manage and implement best warehouse/distribution practices
  • Lead and oversee warehouse and distribution staff with a focus on strong people leadership
  • Handle the back-end process of all export orders
  • Ensure efficient and professional service delivery to customers
  • Manage the timely despatch and receipt of goods
  • Oversee inventory management and stock accuracy
  • Ensure tinting processes are carried out as agreed and to standard

Key Requirements:

  • 5+ years of proven leadership experience in a warehouse/DC environment
  • A qualification in life and a can-do attitude!
  • Act as a motivating force, energizing the team with a people-first approach and fostering a positive, collaborative work environment
  • Expertise in export documentation
  • Flexibility with strong problem-solving skills
  • ‘F’ Endorsed Forklift License & full NZ Driver’s license
  • Strong computer skills and attention to detail (Greentree Software is a plus!)
  • Ability to lift up to 20 kg with ease
