Our client, a prestigious family-owned international leader in their industry, is renowned for high-quality products, innovation, and excellence. With manufacturing sites spread around the globe, they are seeking an operator to join their dynamic manufacturing team. This is a temp-to-perm opportunity designed to support ongoing growth and meet production demands.
 
Job Responsibilities:

  • Operate and maintain advanced production equipment, ensuring optimal performance.
  • Blend products with precision, adhering to established recipes and processes.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex machinery issues promptly to minimize downtime.
  • Review and complete batch documentation accurately, maintaining compliance with quality standards.
  • Conduct routine and advanced inspections of machinery and production lines, identifying and addressing potential issues.
  • Manage inventory, including tracking stock levels, ordering supplies, and conducting regular audits.
  • Implement and uphold safety and quality control measures, including corrective actions when needed.
  • Train and mentor new team members on equipment operation, safety procedures, and best practices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize production efficiency and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Skills Required:

  • Previous experience in food manufacturing, particularly blending and batching.
  • Strong numeracy and literacy skills for accurate documentation.
  • Ability to handle manual tasks of up to 25kgs.

Location: East Tamaki Hours: Monday to Friday, 06:00am to 2:30pm
