Are you passionate about supply chain management and procurement? Do you thrive in dynamic environments where your meticulous attention to detail can shine? We are seeking a proactive and experienced Procurement Officer to join our clients team in Bayswater.

In this role, you will ensure the seamless continuity of goods and services for our Production team and external customers, while optimizing inventory levels.

As the Procurement and Supply Chain Coordinator, you will:

  • Align local purchasing activities with corporate purchasing policies and guidelines.
  • Manage SAP for raw material data, and pricing updates to ensure accurate data and smooth PO ordering.
  • Procure products and monitor inventory to meet operational needs.
  • Track and report on open orders, update delivery dates, and communicate with stakeholders to resolve issues, ensuring adequate inventory for long lead-time materials.
  • Monitor and maintain stock levels of sub-contracted materials.
  • Assist in recommending alternative supply sources to mitigate risks.


What You’ll Bring

  • Tertiary or business-related qualification is desirable.
  • A solid understanding of the chemical industry and procurement/supply chain processes.
  • Prior experience in a similar role, preferably within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Exceptional SAP skills and high proficiency in Excel, especially for data extraction, analysis, and reporting.
  • Ability to thrive in high-pressure environments with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
