Main Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Set out and install hot and cold-water systems and associated equipment.
  • Install stormwater, sewer systems, and below-ground drainage.
  • Rough-in water and gas services and install gas appliances and regulating devices.
  • Design and install sanitary plumbing, water supply systems, discharge pipes, and sanitary fixtures.
  • Install gas appliances, flues and pressure-regulating devices.
  • Fabricate and install metal roofing, rainwater goods and flashings.
  • Assemble and install mechanical services, air handling and conditioning equipment, and small-bore heating systems.
  • Follow blueprints, drawings, and specifications for layout and materials.
  • Ensure high-quality final installations, adhering to standard operating and safety procedures.

Skills & Experience:

  • Holds a plumbing licence and/or other related industry qualifications.
  • Knowledgeable of the Plumbing Code and Australian standards.
  • Experience in all the tasks and activities relates to commissioning and new installation.
  • Strong experience in a similar role will be highly regarded
  • Punctual and reliable, self-motivated, problem solver & team player.
  • Strong interpersonal & communication skills.
  • Basic computer literacy.
  • Must pass a drug & alcohol test and be willing to undergo a pre-employment medical if required.
  • Already had a Q Fever vaccination or are willing to participate in the vaccination process.
