Are you seeking a position where you can leverage your manufacturing background to explore a different industry? Our client, a leading player in chemical formulation, manufacturing, and distribution worldwide, is on the lookout for an experience production operator to join their team at the East Tamaki branch. Despite being a part of a rapidly expanding company with multiple sites in Australia and New Zealand, this branch maintains a small business culture.
In this role, you’ll work collaboratively with a vibrant team to produce various adhesives, cement products, and construction materials according to the production schedule.

Responsibilities:

  • Measure, weigh, and blend precise quantities of raw materials in large blending tanks.
  • Operate machinery at precise temperatures and speeds to ensure proper production.
  • Package products and label, pack, and wrap them onto 15L – 200L drums for dispatch.
  • Maintain accurate records of materials used and batch documentation. 

Skills and Experience.
We’re looking for a candidate who has prior experience in manufacturing settings and possesses a good understanding of production processes. This includes:

  • Experience in batching and blending, preferably in industries like food, household/personal care, or familiarity with weighing and measuring products.
  • Ability to work comfortably in full personal protective equipment (PPE), including respirators, as necessary due to the potentially dusty and chemical-handling nature of the environment.
  • Willingness to engage in physical tasks, primarily standing and occasionally lifting objects weighing up to 25kg.
  • Demonstrated reliability and commitment to being a valuable team player focused on the task at hand.

Hours:
Monday to Friday from 06.45am to 15.30pm with potential for overtime in peak seasons.
