A bit about the role

  • Assist in preparing detailed cost estimates for construction projects, including materials, labor, and equipment costs.
  • Collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to gather necessary information for estimating.
  • Analyze and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
  • Research and gather data on materials, subcontractor pricing, and market trends.
  • Utilize estimating software and tools to prepare cost breakdowns and reports.

A bit about you

  • A Degree in Quantity Surveying or Engineering.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
  • Familiarity with construction drawings and specifications.
  • Eagerness to learn and develop estimating skills.
