Scitex Recruitment is committed to connecting talented individuals with excellent career opportunities, and we’re now hunting for a Sales & Inventory Coordinator on behalf of our laundry engineering and services client who specialises in commercial and residential advanced laundry operations and equipment, across New Zealand and Australia.
If you are detail oriented and have a passion for coordinating sales orders by going above and beyond for your customers whilst always seeking to optimise inventory and suppliers, then this may be the role you’re looking for.

  • Oversee inventory levels, procurement activities, and sales coordination to meet customer demand effectively.
  • Source suppliers, negotiate contracts, and ensure timely delivery of goods to maintain adequate stock levels.
  • Develop and implement inventory control procedures to minimize loss and optimize stock levels.
  • Analyse sales data to forecast demand and make informed decisions regarding inventory replenishment.
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to develop strategies and promotions to drive sales.
  • Provide exceptional customer support by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring a positive customer experience.
  • Monitor supplier performance and maintain strong relationships to ensure quality and timely delivery.
  • Generate reports and analyse data to identify areas for improvement and optimize processes.
  • Physically fit (must be able to be on feet, lifting boxes and picking/packing stock)

Qualifications & attributes of the ideal candidate:  

  • A qualification in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred.
  • Proven experience in inventory management, procurement, and sales, preferably in a retail or e-commerce environment.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make strategic decisions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-centric approach
  • Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritise tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.
  • Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.

This is a full-time role, Monday to Friday, working between the hours of 8.00am-5.00pm, some overtime work may also be required. You will join a fun, friendly team working in an industrial, warehouse type environment that demonstrates excellent Health & Safety measures, reporting to the NZ Operations Manager.
