Are you a Chemistry or Chemical Engineering graduate with a passion for customer service and technical problem-solving? We’re looking for a Customer Support Chemist in a temporary role with potential to transition into a long term position, with our client involved in the management of hazardous waste industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Use your chemical knowledge to act as the technical liaison between customers and the operations team.
  • Enter information into the SCO Sales system to accurately track and maintain customer orders.
  • Follow company guidelines to generate accurate quotes on disposal costs, based on customer requirements.
  • Handle all customer-related administration, ensuring smooth communication and processes.
  • Provide expert guidance to customers on the safe handling and disposal of hazardous materials.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to explain technical information clearly to non-technical audiences.
  • Strong computer skills including MS office suite and ideally some exposure to CRM software.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
