Corporate Governance Officer

Our client are a dynamic manufacturing organisation, with a strong focus on nutraceutical and nutritional products. They are in a very strong position to take advantage of various booming export markets.

On their behalf, Scitex are currently seeking a Corporate Governance Officer to work in their Corporate team, driving compliance and audits, in partnership with external consultants.

This a unique role for someone wanting exposure to the financial and compliance aspects of a strong multi market company; you’ll gain experiences normally reserved for more experienced professionals.

The key responsibilities of the role

  • Internal audits: assist in internal audits to evaluate control processes by gathering and reviewing documents, preparing observation reports, and recommending improvements.
  • Consultant coordination: liaise with third-party consultants to facilitate external financial audits and compliance reviews, including by document preparation for effective audits, clearing and managing access to internal systems, and coordinating between the consultants and internal teams to ensure all necessary information and personnel are available when required.
  • Stakeholder engagement: effectively communicate and present compliance and audit findings to stakeholders, highlighting core aspects such as key findings, conclusions and next steps.

What you need to bring

  • Ideally 3 years experience in Financial Auditing, Corporate Governance or another area in the Supplement industry – but this is not mandatory.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, law, finance or a related field, is expected. 
  • Proficiency in speaking Mandarin, plus a strong understanding of Asian and Australasian cultural nuances is preferred, but not mandatory.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present complex information clearly.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Enthusiasm, ambition, willingness to learn; you need to be a proactive self starter.
